Job Summary: Responsible for disassembly, assembly, inspections and testing on civil aviation articles in accordance with applicable maintenance data. Ensures company operational goals and objectives are met, while guaranteeing all maintenance and maintenance records are executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, procedures and applicable maintenance data. Requirements: Familiar with Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR 145 repair stations. Possess mechanic skills including mechanical, hydraulic and troubleshooting. Proficient in using basic tools, equipment and inspection aids applicable to perform the maintenance of basic hydraulic components. Ability to record/ provide concise, accurate and sufficiently detailed data for input of all maintenance information. Ability to understand the methods, techniques and practices outlined in manufacturer’s maintenance data, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, specifications and other maintenance data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail. Punctual, self-starter, able to adapt in fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain work area in a clean and professional manner. Owns basic tools. Observe all safety precautions and repair station policies. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Valid driver’s license. Be at least 18 years of age. Be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screen. Be authorized to work in the US Able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language. Participation in FAA DOT Drug and Alcohol Program with random testing required.
